spacecamp, thai food and dreams

I woke up in a stupor this morning, having had yet another dream about random men offering me spring rolls. I'm not entirely sure why it's significant enough to blog about but I haven't had much else happen today so here it is.
I first began dreaming about a classmate of mine in graduate school, who I have absolutely no interest in. After all, I am happily manfriended and have been for going on 4 years. However, this classmate is quite the dish and girls heart him. So I suppose it's understandable how he snuck into my wee subconscious.
I know what you're asking....what kind of spring rolls would warrant such musings and random man love? Totally. Such a good question. And I have no idea so I'm going to make it up and say shrimp.

After the adulterous (though completely PG) shrimp roll dream, I rolled out of slumbertown and made some delicious Mocha Joe's coffee. So cheap and delicious and fresh, beans from the Brattleboro Co-Op. I enjoy the Co-Op. I also bought dark chocolate-covered almonds. Unrelated but a good sugar boost when loafing in the middle of the afternoon.

I digress.

The rest of the day was fairly uneventful, though I've been sending my resume to so many people, I feel dirty.

Exciting: I did watch SpaceCamp again. I love that film. Especially the crazy 80's hair and valley girl in charge of the Morse code back to NASA, who is the actress married to John Travolta.

Yeah. I know. You can blame my latch-key upbringing and love of the ridiculous.
